Hey, I’m Shaylan! I have worked with Harvest Wealth as a Client Services Officer for three years. Before working here, I completed Certificate III in Business Administration while doing a traineeship with the local CFA.

Working at Harvest Wealth has provided me with a space to learn new things on the job continuously; It’s a good feeling to have the opportunity to help and support people on their financial journeys.

Starting a job at Harvest Wealth in an industry I knew nothing about a week before Covid hit would be one of my most challenging yet significant life achievements. I had to work from the office while everyone else was made to work from home. Learning fast was my only option. It forced me to jump straight into the deep end and quickly become familiar with the industry.

Financial advice is important for everyone. Due to the uncertainty of life, it’s reassuring to have a guide of where things are and where things are going financially; this allows us to plan for any roadblocks along the way.

When the day is done, you will find me spending time with my family and getting out and about with friends. Mildura is a small, tight-knit community where you get to know everyone; it feels like being a part of a huge family.

If I were to have dinner with three people, it would be The Rock, Steve Harvey, and Michelle Obama.
